Farr Automotive is one of the oldest independent repair shops in the Bozeman area. Not a franchise, not a dealership service desk — the same shop, doing the same work, for four decades.

What we do
- Diagnostics. Finding the actual fault, rather than replacing parts until the light goes out.
- Repair. Engine, driveline, brakes, suspension, electrical.
- Maintenance. Scheduled service that keeps a vehicle out of the shop instead of in it.
- Inspection. Before you buy it, or before you drive it over a pass in February.
Why forty years matters in this trade
Anyone can read a code off a scanner. Knowing that this engine, in this year, at this mileage, throws that code for a reason the scanner does not mention — that is time served, and there is no shortcut to it.
It is also the one thing a new shop across town cannot buy.
